Travel

Clients fly into Grand Junction Regional Airport (GJT) in Grand Junction, CO where they will be met by staff and transported to camp. There is also ample parking at camp if arriving in personal vehicle.



Rates

5 day hunt…………………………call for price Non Hunting Observer fee…… $1250.00 Price does not include travel expenses, taxidermy/processing cost, shipping cost or gratuities.

Physical Ability

Light to moderate hiking will be expected each day. We are able to accommodate most hunters with a wide range of hunting terrains to suit each clients varying abilities. Hunting area varies from 6,000 to 9,500 ft in altitude and terrain varies greatly. You may expect anything from rough steep rocky ridges to open wooded mountainous terrain.

Licenses

September rifle season is a draw and applications are due to CPW April 1. Later rifle seasons are available over the counter at any license agent or online at www.wildlife.state.co.us or by calling 1800-244-5613

Colorado GMU 40- Spot and Stalk -Black Bear Hunts This high success rate hunt is a great combo to any mule deer or elk hunt, with over the counter tags available during the rifle season, if you have another big game license in hand. Or you can put in for the limited draw September rifle season for a solo hunt. Western Colorado bear hunting is known for producing beautiful color phase bears.
